Comedy + Cookouts

First, I want to give a big WOO HOO! for 500 likes on Facebook! I know it may not be much, but that's a nice accomplishment especially for the dramatic increase over the past few months. Thank you to all of you who follow along with me on my journeys. So, here's a nice recap of my weekend. Friday night I was literally in stitches. I could not breathe from laughing so hard when I watched Jay Pharaoh at The Comedy Zone here in Charlotte. I'm a huge lover of Saturday Night Live, so the second I saw he was headlining I knew I had to find the time to watch him. I'm so glad I didn't miss it. I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time. The rest of my weekend was very scenic and indulgent. We ate. A lot. But in our defense we ate with beautiful views. We had a cookout on our rooftop on Saturday and then Sunday we had another cookout at the park (family tradition) with a breathtaking sunset.
^How cute is he?
H and I also took my sister to Toast of Dilworth since I knew she would be
in benedict heaven (which she was). She got the avocado one pictured above.
Here are snippets of our cookout. Also, I made two very very very rich cakes. S'mores and turtle. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of the s'mores one, but hey, look at the turtle one (aka diabetes cake). Sorry in advance for all the snapchat saves, but if you followed me on snapchat then you would've seen the s'mores one (@dalshafei).
