Hello, Queen City

Last night I stayed up until sunrise to enjoy the view from our rooftop. I've always been a lover of the sun, so I thought I would put this new city to the test and admire it's beauty at 6 AM. It's kind of magical to watch the beginning of a day.  It makes you feel as if you're in control of everything that happens for the rest of the day. The transition of leaving a city that I loved so much and moving to this one has been hard, but not nearly as difficult as I had imagined.  There's something exciting about the endless possibilities of meeting new people and exploring new places.  Charlotte is very different from Charleston. It's busy, fast, and forward-thinking whereas Charleston was very easy going, laid back, and almost laissez-faire like.  At times I wonder if the city itself was indeed that way, or if I was just living a laid back life that made me associate the two together. Ironically, I'm spending my days baking, (still fasting), furniture shopping, and catching up on TV shows.  Any recommendations must see things to do, see, or experience in Charlotte I would greatly appreciate it! Until then...
