Seven layered bars are traditionally known as being filled with coconut, butterscotch, and walnuts. All of those ingredients are perfect when combined, but do you know what's even better than that? Putting together 7 of your favorite ingredients and making your own magic bar... and that is exactly what we did yesterday afternoon. 7 things we love so dearly (and were craving like crazy during the day while we were fasting) were layered on top of each other one by one and then melded together to make the perfect after iftar dessert.
Line a pan with foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
1. Pretzels turn into pretzel crumbs to make a unique crust
(mix 3 cups pretzel crumbs with 1 stick melted butter & 2 TBS sugar)
3. Almonds (chopped)
4. Toffee bits (my favorite)
5. Salted ruffled potato chips (adds sweet & salty feel)
6. Chocolate chips
7. 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
**Any other ingredients will work in this recipe just as well.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
