thanksgiving + a birthday

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays- not because I'm thankful for what I have (I am everyday) but because of the delicious food and the quality time I get to spend with my family.  Last year, Thanksgiving was in Dallas- this year we headed to Atlanta to spend it with my dad's side.  We spent most of the day in the kitchen preparing food, and when the sun set we indulged in some of our favorite dishes and desserts.

PS; Today is my father's birthday.
My dad is such a huge inspiration in my life.  He always supports me, and is the first one there for me when I am in need.  His greatness is something that cannot be described, and every November 23rd I thank God for giving me one of the best dad's of all time.  I love you baba, I hope you have the best birthday in the world.
