4th of July

The past few years I spent July 4th in countries that never celebrated the holiday.  This year was one of the first times in a while that I spent it at home with friends and family.  I appreciated all of the themed items with their patriotic colors, home baked treats, and sparklers that we all enjoyed as we celebrated the independence of a country that (with time) have called home.  Since we are all originally from other countries, it was more of a day for food, drinks, and a reason to get together.  Only thing missing? My dad, brother, and sister. {i miss you!}
